Sierra Leone Unites Receives Humanitarian Service Award for its Contribution to Sustainable Development

As we wade through the day-to-day tasks of inspiring a new generation of leaders and transforming lives, sometimes without recognition or encouragement, remember to, “keep your eyes on the prize.” And for Sierra Leone Unites yes, the prizes are coming either in the form of trusting us with other taxpayers money or simply calling to hand us an award in “recognition of your significant contributions to sustainable development and humanitarian efforts, and participation in charitable activities, and care of the Indigent”.
Our appreciation to the African CEO Media Corporation for this award.
This award is dedicated to our hard working volunteers who have always made sure that the work is done.
We will continue to inspire, connect and equip a new generation of national leaders.

Sierra Leone Unites Concludes Training for 50 Climate Change Champions

As we conclude training to equip the next generation of climate change champions, we are amazed by the pledges of the five schools in Kambia District to discourage food wastage, to plant more trees, to control emissions, conserve water, and educate people on the dangers of climate change. The future is promising for the younger generation. For their future, they will take action by singing and dancing for the climate, by organizing debate and quiz competitions, petitioning their local councils to take action on solid waste and engaging in field trips to conservation areas.
With commitment and support from their schools and communities, we are building the next generation of climate change champions.
